The 12th International Conference on Paleoceanography (ICP12) is coming to Utrecht, the beating heart of the Netherlands, from August 29th to September 2nd, 2016.

The conference will take place in the Beatrix Theater of the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, which is within walking distance of the medieval city center of Utrecht, next to Utrecht Central Train Station (Utrecht CS), easy to reach by public transport.

The ICP12 organizing committee has committed to maintaining the successful formula of past ICP editions. The conference is organized along session themes, addressed in plenary oral presentations by invited speakers in the mornings and extensive poster sessions in the afternoons. In addition, various social events will take place, including the traditional Paleomusicology concert, excursions and the Conference dinner, to make the meeting a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
